Ross Lee, Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Lee is a Merchant Mariner with expertise in the field of logistics. He has worked for the United States Military Sealift Command in Europe and Honolulu. For the Naval European Command in Naples, Italy he served as a Research Analyst in the area of Chinese Studies
As a Research Analyst, Mr. Lee is regarded as an expert with the knowledge in the field of Chinese Studies. He worked as an advisor and research analyst on Africa and China’s developing strategies in the understanding of China’s business intentions in Africa. Mr. Lee was in charge of developing strategic policies in engagements with Africa and China. He was also a member of the Regional Planning Team (RPT) developing and executing plans for US engagement with the Gulf of Guinea and Caspian Sea countries. In addition, Mr. Lee was a Global Fleet Station (GFS) member planning for the US floating platform to assist and educate African countries on Maritime Domain Awareness.
Mr. Lee is highly recognized in the military as a security and terrorist specialist. He has been a part of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Germany and the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies in the US. He has written several papers on China and Africa relations and its impact on the US military forces.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Lee co-founded Rising Tide. Mr. Lee served as Operations Manager for a global import export company. This company marketed products directly to Japan for the high end consumer market.
Mr. Lee holds his Bachelor Degree of Science from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York and a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in International Marketing from Chaminade University of Honolulu. In addition, Mr. Lee is a Certified Microsoft Instructor.
